DISC
(behavioral assessment)(two formats)(two delivery modes)
This 22 to 25-page report explains how the person is most likely to behave. There are two types of behaviors the reports focus on; the person’s “adaptive” behavior and their “natural” behavior. The “adaptive behavior is the “mask” we put on at work because that is the behavior we believe we are expected to do. The person’s “natural” behavior is what they are like with people they highly trust or when alone. The “natural” behavior also occurs when the person is experiencing pressure, stress or conflict, since they do not have the energy to continue using their “mask.”
There are two forms of the DISC report that we sell most often. They are the Sales Version that highlights sales related behaviors and the Management-Staff Version that highlights behaviors when interacting with others within the organization. There are three major differences between these two versions of the report. The Sales Version has 1) a section on “Sales Characteristics” 2) a section on “Sales Tips” and 3) has wording throughout the report related to selling others. The “Management-Staff Version has 1) a section on “General Characteristics,” 2) a section on “Communication Tips” and 3) is worded throughout to focus on management-staff relationship issues.
Use this report to assist in 1) pre-selection, 2) interviewing, 3) selection, 4) matching the person with the job and/or supervisor, 5) managing / leading, 6) effective team assignment, 7) coaching/mentoring, 8) personal development, 9) job reassignment, 10) discipline, and 11) termination interviews.
